I have a motherboard for 8th and 9th gen Intel lying around and decided to make a build. I have gotten my hands on 16gb memory and a 1070. Though I have not yet decided on CPU. The motherboard is a b360 chipset and does not allow for overclocking.
I have a friend who is interested I a PC and will use it for studying and gaming. I am looking for the best bang for buck and am considering between 8350k (though the k does not matter), 9100f (very cheap), 9400f or if I manage to find any other more high end chip for cheap.
For the intended usage I am inclined towards the 9100f mainly because of price/performance, but maybe 9400f is the way to go.
What do you think?
