So I'm building my dad a new pc, and I'm wondering if you guys have some opinions on what cpu to buy. He mainly uses it for desktop and multitasking, but also some gaming. His criteria for the hole build is that it's fast, quiet and can do some gaming. His bugdet is around 1800$.
So the 3 cpu's I've looked at is:
Ryzen 7 3700X
Ryzen 7 3800X
Intel i7-9700k
The i7 would be the quickest, right? And would the 8 more threads even matter when he listen to music and check mail while browsing the internet?

For mobo I have no idea, but it should have be high quality with wifi, good soundcard, m.2 ssd, and handy features. OC and looks doesnt matter. Lets me know f you have any suggestions!
