What CPU should I get for gaming?

Current specs:
• Fx-4300
• nvidia geforce gtx 1050 ti 4gb
• an am3+ motherboard (ddr3)
• transcend 1x8gb ram 1600 u

I want a new cpu and probably a new mobo because I think there isn't an am3+ cpu worth buying. The problem is: I want a cpu that is good enough for a while but I don't want to buy new ram. I was thinking about i3 8350k or 8100 but then I discovered there wasn't a ddr3 mobo with socket lga1151 that is compatible with the 8th generation intel i3. Any suggestions what I should get?

Yeah you will need to get a new motherboard, CPU and ram combo just to move out of that platform. To add, yes you will need to ditch the AM3+/AM3FM2/FM2+ socket altogether and look at the Ryzen or Intel's 8th gen lineup.

I live in the netherlands and my budget is around €250-€300 more or less is also ok. Thanks for the fast reply
