Hey guys im building a computer haven't upgraded mine in about 5 years
i was wondering what cpu should i get i use computer mainly for gaming and i got a gift corsair hydro 115 from a friend so i dont need a cooler
im thinking to get the rtx 2070 super

im considering ryzen 3600 or i5 9600k
im from israel and the i5+z390 is cheaper for me then the 3600+x570 board

im not 100% sure what should i get and if you have a different idea i would like to hear that as well
thanks for your help!

basic options (in my opinion, of course) R5-3600, or Intel 9700K...(9600K is starting out already 'thread challenged', I'd pass on it....)

X570 is not really needed (PCI-e 4.0 not much of a factor anyway), just a B450 that is capable of BIOS flashback (no CPU needed for flashing BIOS to one that supports 3000 series CPUs)

where i buy it from the 9600k is about 150 usd less then the 9700k thats why i was thinking the 9600

Ryzen 3600 is a much smarter choice.

It have similar performance to i5 9600, but it have the double of logical cores. This already makes difference in games like BF or Assassins Odyssey and will have even more difference in the future. Next Sony console will have 8 cores and 16 threads.

Core i5 9600 is the new i5 7600. It's just not a smart choice because it have low logical core count.
