What CPU should I get with and ASUS A7V133 mobo?

I'm most likely going to build my own system. I need a new PC for college so why not? I need one that's reliable so I can save reports and also type them, not to mention to do some gaming. I was looking at the ASUS A7V133 mobo and was wondering wat kind of AMD CPU I should purchase. I want it to be reliable, yet overclockable. Another question. I kind of power supply should I get to power this hoss? Any info would be helpful. THANKS!

if all you are doing is wordproc,surfin and gaming, then IMHO all you need is
1 gig
at least a gf2 mx (gf2 ultra is better)
get lots of mem (256+)
a big HD 7200 rpm (30 or 40 gb is heaps for now)
a good case with PSU that has lots of W's on the 3.3/5 volt rails (300W PSU with at least 180W on 3.3/5V rails)





however, we all finish at the begining and start at the end

for the procoessor i say to go with a t-bird 1.2"C"
pretty much the same as what the other guy said but make sure that you get at least a 350+ PSU. a few case fans and AS-II

is this reality... i thought it would more realistic.
