What Cpu Should I Get?

I have a AMD FX 8150 at the moments and want to upgrade to a i7 4700k. But i need to know if i need to wipe my hard drive because of the AMD drivers. Thanks!

If you want to go from AMD to Intel you have to change the motherboard as well.

yes, ....or, just get a new HD, install windows on there and after that's all done, updated, etc, attached the old HD for additional storage and delete boot / windows files off it
