[SOLVED] What CPU should i get?

Im building a new Gaming PC and new help on what i should choose for my CPU. I'm stuck between the 8700k, 9700k, and not so much but still considering the 9900k. I have a 2700x stream build, all i need is a gaming build. Do i need the hyper-threading for gaming? should i get a 8c CPU for gaming? thank you friends!!

The 8700k will serve you well for just gaming. The extra cores and threads of the 9900k are not worth the massive price difference. The 8700k is close to the same price as the 9700 but also give you hyperthreading over the 9700.

For gaming your better off with the i7 9700K...two more real cores are better in gaming then 2 less cores but 6 more virtual ones. Check this out!!
