What cpu should I pair with a 1050ti for gaming, light video work and light streaming

Hi guys, I will be buying a Pc with a gtx 1050ti but I don’t know which processor should i get? The i5 8500 and 8600 will soon be available but as far as I’m aware I think the 8400 is the best of these or ryzen 5 1600. Im also open on buying something like the i3 8100 or 8300 or Ryzen 3, but im scared that 4 cores 4 threads will soon be weak. So I need you guys to tell me which cpu is moth bang for my buck. Thank you.

If you're looking for future proofing, bang for your buck, and want to stream, then Ryzen 5 1600 is your best bet.

just for gaming all of them are ok, but you need something more for streaming and ligth editing video. Discart i3 and ryzen 3.
Your choice is i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 1600. Nowadays buying a CPU more expensive than the GPU is a waste. Of course if i5 8500 i5 8600 or Ryzen 5 1600x are affordable are better!

Intel is better for gaming and Ryzen is better for editing video. But a little diference anyway.

I have a i5 8400 and work well. Ryzen 5 1600 too (by references).
If you like o.c. go with Ryzen 5 1600. if you want simplicity go with i5 8400.
if you have a mini itx case go with I5 8400.

Note that ryzen is more sensitive to the speed of RAM and that tests are done with 3200 flarex RAMs (special for ryzen). Intel only needs the speed of 2666 to opt for optimal values. In some countries this is important because of the price of RAM.

Now I5 8400 can use mobo B360 H310 or H370 cheaper than Z370 ones.
Ryzen can use X370 B350 (and A320 without o.c.!).
