I have this graphic card and i wonder what cpu will be best so it would not have bottleneck,
also for a motherboard i am thinking MSI Z97 gaming 3 or 5 depends on budget.

That card would match up easily with an overclocked Pentium G3258 or an i3, it's not a very high end model. For the motherboard, I would save a little money and get the MSI Z97S SLI Krait edition, it packs most of the features of the gaming boards along with much nicer looks and a cheaper price tag.

I recommend the i3-4150 with a the Krait motherboard, you can always upgrade to an overclockable i5 or i7 in the future.

i was thinking for an i5 , cause the one i have now is i3 550 and i wanted to have one not to upgrade in the near future , the point is will it go well with my card if not then probably i would have to wait for newer cpus.

Yeah you right i decided on this motherboard seeing the i5 4690k as an example at first , well the usage is of course gaming,
how much money i don't know i want suggestions so i can gather money.

A 4690k pairs perfectly with a GTX 970 or GTX 980 if gaming at 1080p

not really thats the problem, cause i got the r7 265 6 months ago can't change it not that much money , thats the issue if i get a 4690k cause i really want a good CPU to last but then i won't have good performance cause of GPU so i need a good CPU to go with my GPU.

I think you'll find that the Z97 Krait motherboard is in fact very high quality, it's a great motherboard for the price of only £90. I only suggested an i3 to the OP because that is a good balance to go with the R7 265.

Seeing as the OP is upgrading from an i3, an i5 now makes a lot more sense. If you have the budget for it, I recommend an i5-4690K and an Asus Z97-A. The board is probably the highest quality you can get if you're not venturing into Maximus VII or Deluxe boards and the processor can handle any graphics card on the market right now. A decent air cooler like the Raijintek Aidos should get a decent overclocking result as well.

However, if you're looking to spend this much money on a CPU and motherboard, you'd probably be better off upgrading to a better graphics card. The R7 265 is roughly equivalent to a GTX 750Ti, which is in a completely different league compared to the enthusiast grade i5-4690K. If you want the perfect balance of processor and graphics card, you want a new i3 and a H97 board, but if you want to upgrade to a much more powerful graphics card in the future (GTX 970/980) you should probably go for the i5.

Feel silly much? If the OP really wants the perfect CPU for his current graphics card, he isn't looking at anything more than a Pentium or i3, we can both agree on that. If he wants to upgrade in the future, an i5 would be a good investment in the future. We can both agree on that as well.

Then where, may I ask, is this unnecessary aggression coming from?

this one is interesting aswell

but anyway thanks for your suggestion.

Yes actually i want a CPU both for future and now but its hard to find a perfect one so i guess i either get the best one and hope to change the GPU aswell in the future or i just wait for prices to lower or new CPU to come out.
