Hello community!

I'm looking to get my first computer build by fall of 2018, and was going to put in a gtx 1070 ti (by MSI). I have already settled on using a Ryzen CPU, to be specific a Ryzen 5 1600. and I thought earlier: "wait a minute, I forgot about potential bottlenecking".
So I thought what would be the best CPU to pair with this graphics card? I don't know so I thought I could ask you for help. (Oh yea, and I'm going to be playing at 1080p if that helps)
Again, I'm still quite new to this, and thanks for the help!

A Ryzen 1600 should be a perfectly good pairing with a GTX 1070 Ti. I know the current memory market is still pretty bad, but try pair it with a fast RAM kit if possible (2800-3200 MHz is a good sweet spot) as Ryzen greatly benefits from it in many scenarios including Gaming. I would not expect any CPU bottlenecking except in games that are either poorly optimised on the CPU or your trying to push a very high framerate where the CPU might not keep up (Shouldn't be a worry until at least 120+ FPS, give or take depending on the game). Just on a final note, i thought you should know Ryzen 2 is supposedly right around the corner! So it might be worth looking into that and potentially waiting if you feel it would be worth it! Hope this helps! :)
