What CPU to pair with GTX 1070?

Hello. I have a very big CPU bottleneck. My current CPU (i5 4460S) cant handle the GTX 1070. So what CPU should i get? Must be LGA 1150, but i could get a new motherboard but that would cost alot... :/ I am thinking about i5 4690K and i7 4790K... And also, my motherboard is Asus H81M-E, even tho its a H, it can overclock CPU's. But if you think LGA 1151 is necessary, please tell the suggestion for that, too. I also have 16GB of DDR3 RAM right now.

Can it overclock? I heard there was a loophole in haswell that you could do that with. If that's the case, unlocked i5 would be good.

Well if you are trying to go 1151, it may be difficult to find one that supports DDR3 RAM. However, te suggestions you are picking are good enough to support that GPU. It's suprirsing that the 4460 is bottle necking. Haven't seen an S model before.

If you were to Skylake, it I would go with the 6600K or 6700K. But it isn't worth upgrading because the Haswell chips should be just fine for a few more years.

I'd go with an i7 4790K if you can afford it. However, it might be worth it, if you have the money, to go with Skylake/Kaby Lake instead.

The ASUS H81M-E supports overclocking. No need to exploit.
