So i recently upgraded to a Rtx 2080 but i still have a Ryzen 5 1500x. This is not a good pairing and bottleneck is visible in loads of games, so what is a good CPU that will not bottleneck as bad with my GPU, preferably a one that would cause my GPU to be under powered or something. Preferably AMD. I have a 1920x1080 120hz monitor and i like to reach 120 fps in competitive games even higher if i get a new monitor
Specs
Rtx 2080 founders edition
Ryzen 5 1500x 3.8ghz
16GB ddr4 2667mhz

Solution
R3 3300X can handle 2080Ti upto 120 fps but just barely.
R5 3600 is a great option overall
R5 3600X will get a price drop once 3600XT becomes public so look for that.
R5 3600XT, if your budget allows it then even a 2080Ti will never bottleneck this one and this will probably easily handle upcoming Nvidia 3000 series GPUs as well
