What cpus and graphics cards can I use with my mother board?

Solution
What is your budget?
Because the PC has low-budget MB, 760gm-p34, you can't use fx8320 cpu, only get the fx6300, fx8320e, or fx8370e. CPU support list http://www.msi.com/support/mb/760GM-P34-FX.html#support-cpu
Also the CyberPowerPC will use the low-budget 500W PSU too.

So if you have the budget you may consider to get the new MB, fx8320, PSU, and the new GPU. And other problem maybe from win8.1, because you change the MB, you may need the new OS too. Keep in mind the fx4300 is similar to the fx6300, the fx8xxxe versions may little bit better than the fx4300.

For the GPU, you can get the new version r9 380, or other similar gtx960 too.

Are you even worried about BIOS updates?

Do you mean the GA-970A-UD3P need the BIOS update? No, the MB only need F1 version ( rev 1.0 MB ) or FA ( rev 2.0 MB ) for the fx8320, those are the 1st version. The cpu support list http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4717

By the way, FX4300 = fx6300, it is not the upgrading. You can just install the fx6300 into the 760gm-p34. So you just waste the $$ on fx6300 + the same 760 chipset MB.

ATTENTION!!! DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE!!! You do NOT need to upgrade your CPU as almost no games to date use more than 4 cores to run. Some use more than 4 like BF4 but thats it. Upgrading from FX 4300 to FX 6300 for a gaming computer will be a complete WASTE of money. Save yourself some money and get a better GPU instead because the GT 720 is crap. For the GPU you get the GTX 970. The CPU may bottleneck the card so get Hyper 212 Evo and overclock the FX 4300 to the moon.
TAh-TAAAH! You have a gaming PC!
