What dell laptop to buy cheap and later upgade into a power house

I LIKE DELL PRODUCTS. I HAVE A LAPTOP 1525 THAT'S A YEAR OLD. IT DOES GOOD, BUT I WANT A MEXA PC AND I WANT SPEED AND ENOUGH TO RUN MY HOUSE. SOME GAMES, MOSTLY MUTIL- MEDIA.

Laptops aren't the best things to buy for future upgrades.

If you mean a media center pc, you would best served to get a desktop. As aford10 stated, laptops aren't the best machines for an upgrade, much less most dells. Maybe look into a custom build or a company that will build you something that can be upgraded down the road.

Laptops aren't really built for upgrading, it's not as straightforward as upgrading a desktop.

What kind of media to you plan on running? Editing or just watching? What kind of games, old or new etc.

We need to know these things before advising you.
