[SOLVED] What display adapter should I buy?

My monitor only has DVI and HDMI cable support. My new pc i purchased only has ports for display port and HDMI. I want to run 144hz but my monitor doesnt support HDMI 1.4. Which adapter should i purchase for having a monitor with DVI and a pc with display ports but wanting to run 144hz?
