Question What do 1024 x 64 & 2048 x 64 mean?

I am looking into buying new RAM.

I have read a reply one person wrote saying that 1024 x64 means it is a one RAM stick (as in 1x16GB) and 2048 x 64 is a 2 stick RAM (as in 2x8GB = 16GB). Then there was a problem.

I was looking into buying Crucial Ballistix Sport RAM and that does not seem to be the case. I will stick to 16GB of DDR4 RAM @320MHz, just for easier comparison and explanation.

This one stick of Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR4 @3200MHz UDIMM RAM says it is 2048Meg x 64 under "Product Specifications":

But then, this kit of 2 stick of Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR4 @3200MHz UDIMM RAM is also defined as 2048Meg x 64:

But THEN, this kit of 2 stick of Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR4 @2400MHz UDIMM RAM is then defined as 1024Meg x 64:

So I ask you, dear fellow Tom`s Hardware PC enthusiasts, what do 1024 x 64 & 2048 x 64 mean on RAM (if 2048Meg x 64 is the same for kit of two sticks as well as one "solo" stick, so clearly it is not what that person statted)? And how important are they when buying new RAM?

P. S. I do not need a lesson on how to buy new RAM (have it be the same voltage, CL and RAM timing as your existing RAM, preferably from the same company).

Focus on size, and speed (assuming you buy a compatible model for the MB) and you'll be fine in basic terms.
