What do I do now?

I am trying to install Ubuntu 14.04.2 on my first system from USB (there is no OS on it currently) and I received this screen. What do I do?

Did you hit any key when that popped up?

Did you hit any key when that popped up?

I did hit random keys and the escape key however that created a new line beginning with <shell> and then the text I had typed.

I mean when it first shows, not after it's dropped to shell.
