no matter what i do i cant get over 1mb download, iv literatly tried everything, im using a ethernet cord to a comcast router, and my motherboard is a ASRock h97m pro4 mATX mb, if that matters, cause i saw in the manual that it has
10mbps
100mbps
1Gbps
but how do i change to a different one cause i feel like its on the 10mbps one?

what exactly is your download speed? Is it below 1Mb (Megabit) per second? or is it below 1MB (MegaByte) per second?

The motherboard LAN speed of 10Mbps meant 10 Megabits per second = 1.25MBps; 100Mbps = 12.5MBps.

For you to "change" to a different one, you may have to pay more to your ISP. What internet package did you get?

right now my download speed on speedtest is : http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4674094868

but on my laptop using the same ethernet cord, i got around 75, DOWN/ 45 up

What I don't understand is on the manual it says it has 10mb/100mb/1gb and when I go to status of the Ethernet it says it's on the 10 one, so is there a way to change it or like cause I can't stand 1.1mb when downloading stuff from steam it's just to slow, iv downloaded all the drivers I think I just don't know what to do

i could of sworn I had all of the drivers installed, but on my laptop with the same cord id get like 60-70 mbps, and on my brand new desktop I get like 8-9, and when I go to network settings and hit Ethernet properties, under the "speed" category it says 10mb, Im really confused on why this is happening, I don't have a wireless card so I need to fix this.
