What do i do to overclock my E6600

Abit AW9D-Max mobo
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
OCZ Vendetta 2 cpu cooler
EVGA 8800 GTS 320mb Factory O/C GPU
4GB OCZ PC6400 ReaperX HPC Performance DDR2


I have latest Uguru installed if needed.

Hi there i want to overclock my computer but not too much to keep it simple lol

Can somebody help me by letting me know what steps to take in order to overclock to say 3.0 Ghz. As simple as possible plz as im a nooob old fossil lmao

Try this:

1) Set the FSB to 333Mhz
2) Set the Vcore to 1.35v
3) Manually set RAM speed, timings and voltage
4) Save and exit the BIOS, test for stability in windows
5) Enjoy your 3Ghz CPU

Just slowly read through The Sticky.
If, when you are done reading it, you are still confused, read it again
It is really not that hard to do, all the changes will be done in the BIOS.
As to what settings for your RAM, it looks like you already have the answer in your signature...
