[SOLVED] What do i do with old boot drive

Tomorrow I'll be getting a new pc with a 240gb drive with windows 10 on it, should i just reformat my old 480gb boot drive

Backup anything you care about that's on the drive then reformat it and use it as extra storage

what are you doing with the existing system when the new one arrives?

if you plan on keeping it, giving it away, or attempting to sell it;
than it would need a system drive.
just perform a fresh OS install on it and leave Windows unregistered.

if you plan on dismantling the existing system and using it's system drive for storage in the new system;
just wipe the entire drive and plug it in to the new system.

Thank you, to be honest don't even know why I posted this question, I guess I'm just worry too much about doing things the wrong way
