Hi folks. I know a few years ago this was quite an issue so I imagine that some headway has been made in terms of 24p functioning properly on a PC. My current card is quite old so I don't know if I need to update or the best way to get this working. My card is currently an ATI Radeon Hd 6670. Running on win10x64. I'd like to get get same level of playback for 24p on my HTPC using Kodi. What do I need? Thanks.

Solution
120 or 144 Hz monitor, 120 Hz TV, or 144 Hz projector, for true 24p playback. If PC, basically what happens is that PowerDVD 15 (my recommendation for software), plays back in true 1080/24p as it sends it to your graphics card, adjust graphics card settings if necessary. Cheapest/most cost effective way, would be to simply invest in a standalone blu-ray player.
