What do I need to do after installing a new cpu?

Im upgrading from my a6 6400k to athlon 880k, once I install it and boot my pc up, what do I have to do ? Will it load itself into windows or will I have to reinstall it? And is their drivers and such ?

Assuming you already have a graphics card that is working, then it should boot normally.

Assuming you've checked to make sure your system BIOS is up to date and your motherboard can accept the new processor, it should just be a matter of swapping the processors and then booting back up.

I am updating bios before hand, and my motheboard is fm2+ so yes, correct socket
