What do I need to get YouTube videos onto a DVD disc?

Hey everyone, this is my first post to Tom's Hardware so please bare with me! Not even sure, where to post this, so if it should be relocated please let me know and I will move it.

To put it very simply..
I need to get YouTube videos onto a TV with no internet/PC/cable connection.

At my workplace, there is a brand new 60" LED LG TV (size is a guess), but there is no connection to it, besides a power source of course, and we do not use a WiFi network.

I am wondering what the process is for getting YouTube videos onto blank DVD discs. I believe the desktop I am on now has an internal DVD writer - if not, I can get one. Once I have it on a DVD I assume just purchasing an external DVD driver will be sufficient to play on a TV? Or even a standard DVD player if they are cheaper.

Hopefully this process is possible. If there is software I would need to purchase for converting YT videos or editing them so I can put more than a 5 minute video on a whole blank disck, that would most likely not be a problem. I am interested in safe and trusted programs moreso than free, as it is for work.

I think that is all - if I forgot anything or you need more information please let me know.

Thank you for the help, and I look forward to frequenting this forum more often!

another method to play YT videos on that TV is to connect a laptop to it through hdmi port and play videos directly from YT
"Net Cookies" (how we call them here) are fairly cheap and perfect for providing internet for your laptop

I would prefer DVD just because I assume there would be more customization options as far as editing if I chose to do so or arrangement. Unless that is all possible via USB, then that is a good option.

Also, something I forgot to mention is that many sites are blocked through my work network, including the page you linked.

I am waiting for my work to issue a laptop, but I can't see it being an option in the near future. It is a high security area, and I cannot bring my own in either, unfortunately.

Well no matter what method you chose, you will need full HD for that TV, so you either find a way to directly play them or you download the videos in 1080p (even if its from another network)

What sort of customization are you looking for, usually your usb drive will be shown same way as a dvd disk - you will have access to the videos and most likely add them into playlist
If using a laptop to play them you can add them into different playlists or make them play randomly

1. If your TV has a play store, you can get the app online ad then view YT vids online
2. If you can connect it to a PC or a PS4 or an Xbox, then you can use their respective apps or browsers to watch it.
3. If it has a USB port, then just download YouTube songs on your drive/card via third party apps like videoder or f-droid > new pipe
4. Once the songs are in the Drive/Card, you can transfer them to a USB and then connect the USB to the TV
5. If you want to burn it onto a disc, use any burning tool like Alcohol 120% to burn the vids from your PC to the disc
