Question What do I need to know before upgrading my Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15IWL's Ram memory to a 8GB?

This laptop has 1 integrated 4GB card and another 4GB card that I can replace, my questions are, what do I need to know before upgrading to a 8gb card, terms like Dual Channel, will it work? I went to https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/scanview/8CBA405231D926C3 and it says I can upgrade to a ram with either 2400Mhz, 2666Mhz or 3200Mhz which option would be better? Also, how can I get the best latency for it, on the crucial link it shows memory cards with CL = 17 or 19, I know that smaller is better, but I read on somewhere that it's not always the case. I would just like to know all the facts before I make a decision because I really can't afford to make a mistake.

Your best bet, is to download CPU-Z, and look at the memory information, with regards to model number, so you can be sure to get a matching stick. Ram should always be as closely matched, as possible.
