What do I need to upgrade in my PC

So Im wanting to upgrade my PC because i get frame issues when playing more modern titles and currently do not know what to upgrade. I had convinced myself I needed more ram but I'm not sure if it's the cpu lagging behind or not. I have gtx 1060 3gb 8gb of ram and an i5 6400 2.7ghz. Im just wondering which one of these to upgrade that i would get the most benefit from.

What resolution do you game at and what games are you playing?

I would be playing at 1920x1080 and I will be playing Battlefield 5 when it releases. I was also looking at the i5 7600k as a cpu option
