What do i put into my Radeon r9 390?

my radeon r9 390 isnt showing up in devicre manager, i have a 6pin currently in it, the fan and leds are running on it, but it wont show up when im on my computer

You need both 6 pin and 8 pin pcie slots filled by your power supply cables. Your monitor should also be directly connected to the R9 390.

-Make sure the GPU is properly seated in the PCI-E slot and all required PSU cables are connected.
-Download the newest AMD drivers - http://support.amd.com/en-us/download -
-Make sure your display is hooked up to the GPU instead of the MB.

there is an 8 and 6 pin on the 390, i only had the 6, im about to put a 6+2 and a 6 into the 390, will this work?
