HD graphics is actually the series name like nvidia has geforce and amd has radeon. More recently they have iris graphics and iris pro graphics for higher end. 2000 is the specific model number. I wouldn't say where in the lineup since they span multiple generations although they did list the numbers by performance. But they have models that are just called hd graphics without any model number but vary in performance and generation. Like a hd graphics (broadwell) beats beats even the hd 3000. Marketing is never clear on naming everything.
