What do to here? Building new rig

I already have: AMD phenom 3.0 quad core and ati radeon HD 4870, 2x2gb DDR2 ram, 640gb disc and 620W power supply, I was using asus m4a78 motherboard but now I have problems with video card pin on it and my screen is black.

So now the question is: Should I sell all these parts and build a new gaming computer for about 600 $ or I could use some parts which I have and build it a bit cheaper? I was thinking of using processor and power supply.
