Game consoles may be the best alternative solution for a more reasonably
priced online gaming experience. Check it out. Games at 60 FPS will be the
norm in the near future.

Not until they have mouse control.

A good thing about it being for both PC and console, is that more people
should be playing UT :)

I know in "need for speed" i can play against my buddies and they got PS2
and have a PC.

Hopefully this will help keep servers from gettin as empty in the future :)

If I just want a bit of target practice, I would use low level bots.
Playing with a mouse against people with gamepads would be like
shooting fish in a barrel, fun for a couple of minutes, but not sport.

The new xbox:360 is gonna have usb connectivity (2 ports I heard).
Therefore possible mouse and keyboard support. So people using consoles may
no longer be fish in a barrel 😛

And editors so you can actually create those mods, mutators and maps.

The ability of a console to manipulate a game as much as a PC will
never happen.

You'd need a 3D modeller and/or connection to a PC to transfer images
and image manipulation and much, much more.

I like the look of Gears Of War -> Hope it comes to PC sooner rather
then later

I am going to buy a new graphics card. A 7900GT. Is it going to be enough for 1280x1024?
A friend has a X1600PRO, is that going to work in 1024x786?

I've played 2 other FP shooters (Half-Life 2 and FEAR) since I played UT 4. There is no comparison. I'd hate to get 2004 up and running again if UT 2007 is really going to be coming out. Does anyone know of the ETA and system requirements?

Thanks
