What do ya think I could get for my gaming PC?

Heya guys I'm thinking about building a new pc for school in the fall and before I do that I'd have to sell the one I have now.

What do ya think I could get for this thing?

i7 4790k ( never overclocked)
16 GBs RAM
MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G (always kept below 65C)
700W Thermaltake power supply
MSI GAMING 5 motherboard z97
1tb Hard drive (just bought a week ago almost nothing on it)
500 GB Samsung 850 Evo (with windows 10 on it)
Fractal Define S case

No, its a 4 generation old processor/motherboard, the ram is DDR3, the GPU can be surpassed by many new GPUs costing around $200 these days, 1tb hard drives are 50 bucks new, the 850 EVO has some value, but still its used. $500 would be fair. I'd price it at like $650 and take $500 in negotiation.

Honestly that rig will have no problem with 1080p gaming the 970 was a hell of a card at launch and is still a great used option and that 4790k is still a great proformer even tho it only has 4 cores with 16gb of ram you should be fine for another few years

Yeah that's what I was thinking
I never see any slow down with this thing
Compared to the pcs that have sold in my area in my area I figured I could put it up for 1100 and go down from there

Yeah I would wait a couple more years until you will see more of a proformance difference I still have a 2500k and a r9 380 in my backup rig and I’m still able to play all my games at 1080p med to high, I would put it a little high and if you get offers then sell it bit if not just wait a bit longer for next gen hardware

Well there are more rumored gpus scheduled to come out soon and 9th gen Intel processors rumored as well so you could also wait to see how the stack up they may be a more worthwhile upgrade from your current system

I've got a laptop I can use in the meantime
I was gonna wait to see how expensive the new Nvidia gpus will be
