what do you do when your LG phone wont update your apps

My Messenger Needs To Be Updated So I Tried Updating It So When I Pushed Update It Said "Authentication Failed , Please Sign In Into Your Google Account" So When I Did Try To Log In My Google Account It Said Said "The Google Connection Severs Times Out Try Again Later" After That I Tried Restarting My Phone & It Didnt Work Plus My Phone Is An LG How Do I Fix This ?.

Try loggin in with your phone hooked up to a wifi network

Also double check your using the correct information for your google account.
