What do you get when buying Windows 8.1 Pro for Students?

Hey guys, typically I usually ask opinion based questions here, but tomorrow is the day for the big build! Since I am a student, I can get Windows 8.1 Pro for Students for $70. I will be using the bootable USB installation method to install Windows. I just wanted to know what will happen once I finalize the order for Windows 8.1. Will I get an e-mail of some sort that says the code? Will it automatically download on this laptop that I'm using (which is going to suck if it does)? Will I get a CD with the Key that has to be shipped? Just a simple question that hopefully I can get an answer from a first hand experience. Thank You! Also an additional question if you want to answer: What should I download first once I install windows?

I will be installing MalwareBytes, AVG Anti-virus, Libreoffice, GIMP, Steam and Chrome. What else should I download that's necessary?

Once you finalize the order, you should get the Activation Key that you will use during Windows 8.1 Pro installation.
