What do you guys have your computer in/on?

I have a carpet floor in the room I keep my computers in, and with this new computer I am building, I do not want it to sit on the carpet. What do you guys have for yours? I'm almost looking for some kind of like standalone platform/open cabinet type thing as I already have a desk.

I have an old end table, about 18" square, and 18" high. I keep my UPS underneath.

Before, I had a Klipsch 5.1 subwoofer on the floor, and put the pc on top of that.

You could get one of those office chair mats for carpet and cut it to size for the PC.

Why don't you want it on the carpet?

I used to keep mine in a desk cabinet when I had it (Airflow was a bit of a nightmare though ).

Now I built a series of custom desks in an L-shape to suit the room. I sit it right on the carpet. However, if you're really that hesitant about setting it on carpet you could get about anything to help raise it off. I've seen furniture stores sell small little stands maybe about 3 inch high for the case.
