What do you guys think about shadow tech?

Hey guys

So ive seen a few people advertise on twitter about something called "shadow tech" Which from what i understand is some type of virtual computer. They make it sound so perfect but i have long since learned not to trust a sales pitch like that, I studied retail after all.

I am curious to hear what actual tech savvy people think about this stuff.

People say a lot of things. Marketing says a lot of things.

Until we see it in the wild....all just hype and guesswork.

A subscription service to host your game rig in the "cloud". That seems to sum it up. This has been tried (and failed) before. Still, tech is evolving at a rapid pace. This could catch on.

However, for the cost, you could build a pretty decent rig you don't have to pay "rent" for. I think I would pass on this service.

Aye i plan to just save up for an actual high end pc atm.
