Question What do you guys think of these specs?

I was searching around for a laptop and stumbled across this:

8GB of DDR4 RAM
1 TB SATA
AMD A9-9425 Dual-Core Processor
AMD Radeon R5 Graphics

Are these any good? Specifically for gaming, I'm not gonna be playing too graphically demanding games. What do you think this will run CS:GO at?

That is based on the old AMD 'Excavator' core- it's pre Ryzen and a very weak cpu. The graphics aren't up to much either.... here is a link to the graphics chip benchmarks on Notebookcheck:

If you scroll down you will find the CS:GO results. At 1024 x 768, lowest settings it averages 39fps.

You really want to be looking for a more powerful APU in a laptop, ideally if you can get one of the new Ryzen based apu's (which include much more modern Vega graphics) you would get better performance. A laptop with the Ryzen 3 2200u would be a good starting point, here is a vid of CSGO gameplay on that chip:

Note that at 1280 x 720 its getting ~ 100fps at all times.
