What do you guys think of this build (For gaming)

looks like a pretty good build, nice job putting it toghether.

Two comments:
1. Is there a particular need for you to have 16gb ram? there's not a game alive that is able to use more than 4gb. So, even if you want to future proof, drop it down to 2x4gb sticks
2. Never heard of Xpower, so get a reputable PSU ~ 550-600W (Antec, Seasonic, Corsair)
3. Oh and one more thing, get i5-2400, it's only like $10 more for 200mhz increase.

Other than that you should be good to go

get the i5 2500k overclocks easily with a nice cooling
jusy slightly more than the i5 2400

The drop from 16G to 8G should cover the difference nicely.

Any @1600ghz would do nice, faster memory speeds are overrated... and useful only for very high CPU overclocks.

Get an ANTEC Earthwatts 500D Green (80+), awesome little things, cheap enough and efficient, at one single GPU and that CPU you don't need any more watts, the system will consume maximum 300 anyway when running games.

I'm with Antizig. His recommendations don't jack the price sky high. Use the money saved from getting 8gb of ram instead of 16gb, to buy a 6870 instead of a 6850. That's my only suggestion.

I'm also with Antizig... & casualcolors...
good PSU is the best investment when you build a rig... it is also one of the most important parts in it since it powers everything (if it blows, usually takes something with it) and tends to out live several update iterations...
