I am budgeting around 1400-1500. keep in mind i live in Canada so every hardware cost about 10-15% more, so a 400 dollar GPU in the states is about 450 here and then + taxes.

http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX58420 - CPU (i5-6660k) - 339.99

http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX53794 - SSD (Ultra II 240gb) - 119.99

The other pieces
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX36523 - Hard drive - 59.99
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX45016 - Case - 79.99
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX49883 - Wireless Adapter (currently on wifi) - 39.99

ooh interesting! thank you!

but also, what do you think of the build it self? anything you would suggest changing?

Your build is pretty good. However, 8 GB of ram (2x4GB) is more than enough for gaming, so I'd suggest unless you're doing audio/video editing, just drop from 16GB to 8GB and put the saved money towards something else. The SSD I'd change to a Samsung 850 Evo if it's in your budget, the Samsung seems to be king of SSD's, but the Sandisk isn't bad either.

The only thing I'd absolutely change is the Seagate Barracuda HDD to a WD Caviar Blue. Seagates have much higher fail rates, so I'd pay the extra $3-$5 and have better reliability.

I'd swap out the GTX 960 for the GTX 970, or get two GTX 960's to SLI which ever is cheaper. With those changes you could get Ultra settings on most any game.

Also, you could do this and use a ethernet cable for internet.

Vizjerie, have you checked out G3 as a possible options to purchase from in Canada? They're really new in Canada and started up when Futureshop closed. Might be worth asking them as they do have a no-tax event going on right now so you might save 10-13%.
