What do you think about my build

Nov 24, 2012
Ok just a quick post of my new computers planned specs:

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe

CPU: Intel i5 3570K (3.4Ghz-3.8GHZ)

CPU Cooler: Enermax t40-tb (For overclocking about 4.0Ghz to 4.5Ghz)

Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 660 Ti (TI-DC2-2GD5)

RAM: 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (WD1002FAEX)

PSU: Corsair GS600 (600W)

Case: Thermaltake Chaser MK-I (although not necessary  )

The computer will cost around 1200$

I will be using this computer mainly for playing games like Crysis 3, Battlefield 3(or 4) and Assassins Creed.

That Enermax cooler, I doubt would get you to 4.5GHz. You'll need a high-end HSF for that like the NH-D14 or Silver Arrow.

Get the 7870 instead for a video card, cheaper than the 660 Ti but has more or less the same performance - or the 7950, better performance than the 660 Ti at the same price.

Everything else should fit, you can save a little from the motherboard though if you went ASRock or Gigabyte.

And maybe an SSD? :p
