This is my (first) build for now. What do you think? And about the motherboard, it's the only item NOT from Fry's, I would like if anyone would suggest a different motherboard. One that is more commmon. (Like an Asus sabertooth or p8p67, or MSI P67A-GD80 B3, or Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3)
Any suggestions is appreciated.

Solution

I dont seem to see any good asus motherboards from frys. Gigabyte and Asus are both good brands (asus just has gigabyte beat on customer support IMO) but its nothing major and frys is good about helping you with anything involving products bought from them so your double covered there.

I would skimp on the mobo, bit pricey for your layout, and you can find a GAMMA Classic Series ATX Mid Tower Interior Steel Chassis (HAF 922 Knock-off) $35 @ amazon.
Use the savings to get a SLI Setup. Just make sure your PSU can handle it.

He already has a GTX580 on a single 1920x1080 screen in his initial build. SLI 580 at that resolution is just overkill, and will be overkill for the next 3-4 years.

I agree he can probably use a less expensive mobo and case, and only needs a 750W PSU for a single 580.

Thank you for your reply, but which motherboards do you recommend? I'll overclock my cpu to 4.5 Ghz

But that's even more expensive than the Asrock Fatal1ty P67. But how about the ASUS Sabertooth, the P8P67 EVO, Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3, or MSI P67A-GD80 B3?

Well, do you have any recomendations for a common company? (ASUS, Giagabyte, MSI)
because I want to buy from an offline store, (FRYS)

Thanks a lot for your response. I like to buy offline because of the easy return policy. Take to store, they check and money back. 2. I don't like the shipping of online store. Take FOREVER and there is a big charge for overnight chipping. 3. If I need to return something, I got to get a RMA and go through a butch of steps and I got to ship it back.

But thanks for the link. It looks like a really good board. But do you have any other recommendations?

Thank you in advance! :bounce:

Display: 3x Acer 25in DisplayPort Monitors (Eyefinity) $689 (Newegg)

GPU: (Crossfire) 2x XFX Radeon HD 6950 2GB Dual Mini-DisplayPort $495/AR
(TigerDirect-Allows 2x Rebates!)

CPU: Intel i5 2500k $217 (Newegg)

SSD: OCZ Vertex 3 120GB $224 (Newegg)

RAM: GSkill 8GB DDR3 1600 $54 (Newegg)

PSU: 1000W COOLER MASTER Silent Pro $130/AR (Newegg)

MB: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 $125 (Newegg) (ASUS Sister Company- Way better ATM)

DVD: Sony DVD+/-RW Drive $20 (Amazon)

Case: GAMMA Classic Series ATX Mid Tower $35 (Amazon)

HSF: Cooler Master Hyper 212+ $27 (Amazon)

Additional PWM 120mm Fan (Push/Pull) $9 (Amazon)

PWM Fan 4 Pin Y Cable $8 (Amazon)

2x 140mm Case Fans $18 (Amazon)

3x 120mm Case Fans $21 (Amazon)

3x DisplayPort Cables $38 (Amazon)

Total: $ $2,083

Take out the monitors and DisplayPort cables and you're well within your budget, but I would keep them for sake of DisplayPort Eyefinity sexiness!
