[SOLVED] What do you think about tech specs of this desktop?

Solution
Buy the 12th gen option, it is stronger, clock for clock than 11th gen.
I think you may have options to customize your order.
I do not put lots of value on ddr5 vs.ddr4.
Performance is similar.
I generally like the way Lenovo builds things.

Tough to evaluate because:

The first one is specific as to the 12400 CPU, drives, RAM, graphics card, etc

The second one is NOT. It is a bunch of "up to" non-specific stuff

Barring unusual circumstances and all other things equal, go with the most recent Intel generation as a general rule.

@Lafong Thanks for your reply. The second one comes with the former generation of Intel and also with DDR 4 . The first one comes with the latest generation of Intel i5 and DDR5.

The CPU in the first one uses the new Intel CPU socket, LGA1700. This socket will be the new Intel standard for several years so, with it, you could upgrade the CPU five or maybe even 10 years from now. For that reason it will also have higher resale value. The same thing applies to the DDR5 RAM. Get the first one unless the second one is much cheaper.
