Question What do you think of this PSU?

Hi, my local store has in promotion this psu (around 60 bucks) is an aerocool 750w 80+Gold.https://www.aerocool.com.tw/en/psu/kcas/kcas-750gm

It's pretty mediocre at best.

It's not even mediocre. It's a scam.

Note that it has an 80 PLUS Gold logo. Now note how it only accepts 200-240 main. No look on 80 PLUS website.

80 PLUS tests at 115V unless they submit for a 230V EU Internal badge, which is a different badge. There is a KCAS-750GM listed, but it's full range. Now look at the 230V EU Internal list at 80 PLUS. No KCAS at all. No Bronze PSUs either.

Aerocool CONSTANTLY does this. They submit a unit to 80 PLUS for certification, get the badge and then cost down the product over the years so it's no longer the same product that was certified, but they continue to use the 80 PLUS badge.

Just avoid them. It makes ZERO SENSE to support such a shady company.

It's pretty mediocre at best. Where are you located?

In the US for 75 bucks on Newegg you can get a Seaonic FOCUS Gold 550 watt (which is more then enough for most gaming PCs unless you have a high draw setup) which is a way better unit.
What im doing is i7 9700k, Gigabyte - Z390 AORUS PRO, 6X 120mm RGB fans, 2X 1080 GTX and Corsair - H100x Liquid CPU Cooler.
I checked this page https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator and it says that i need atleas 570W so what do you guys recommend me? I also found an EVGA at a good price, what do you think?

That doesn't mean anything. EVGA is a brand. They make PSUs that range from flame throwers to nearly top of the line.

What was the EVGA PSU?

What is your budget?

Where are you located?

Hi, the EVGA that i saw is this one https://asia.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=100-GD-0650-V2 for 60 dollars.

My budget is around 90 bucks. Im from Mexico, so keep in mind that even though i can find most of the components, prices could be a lot different, like seasonic 500W is over 100 dollars plus shipping.
Also i found the Corsair CX750M for only 50 dollars. So what do you think

Thats EVGA's cheapest Gold, but it's a lot less shitty then the Aerocool.

Im from Mexico.

So that Aerocool wouldn't work for you anyways. That thing is 230V. Mexico uses 115V, right?

Which is why we generally ask for links to where you are located and where you would typically shop.

Why so cheap? Is it used or something?

750W is way overkill. Do they have the lower wattage versions for even less?
