what does an amd fx6300 at 4.5ghz compare to an intel cpu?

i oced my fx 6300 to 4.5ghz stable and want to know what intel cpu it can match

You're likely round about in the territory of an i5-3470/3570, or a 3570k at stock frequency. In multithreaded tasks, you're likely a bit better, in single threaded stuff, the intel will be marginally faster at a few things.

The second gen i5's (2300, 2400) are going to be the most comparable.

You're golden for gaming with a 6300 @ 4.5 GHz...you should be able to run anything.
