Hi Forum,
I today just put together my i7-3770k and noticed in CoreTemp 1.0 RC3 that it's called:
Model: Intel Core i7 (Ivy Bridge) (ES).
What does ES mean, is it normal?
It's currently clocked at 1.188V @ 4.4Ghz and passed Intel Burn Test at Stress Level : High for about 15 runs, Max temp on one of the cores was 67 degrees [Using Noctua DH14 attached to PSU for 100% fan speed). Are these normal temperatures at my voltage/clock/stress level test.
I've only manually set the Vcore to 1.195 and Bus speed thing to 100.00. XMP is on with ram at 1400 frequency.
Everything else is on auto.
Any tips for overclocking extra? Heard these stuff run hot.
Cheers
