There is this laptop, Lenovo IdeaPad 320 15ABR AMD A12-9720P, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Windows 10 and AMD Radeon 7.

The problem is that the specifications doesn't show how much memory the GPU has. I've seen in other websites that the type of memory is shared.

What does that mean. ?

Solution
If there is, it will be a setting found in the BIOS. If there is no setting for the amount of shared memory to be dedicated to the graphics in the BIOS, then it is a static amount and cannot be changed.
Shared memory means that the system uses RAM, physical memory from the system, for processing graphics. That is common for practically ALL integrated graphics whether laptops or desktops, when no discreet graphics card is used.

So, for example, if you had 16GB of RAM installed and the system was configured to use 1GB of shared memory, that would leave only 15GB for the rest of the system operations. Etc.

How to know what the system has in mind in order to remove GBs from RAM.
I mean is there a way to manage how much GB the system will remove from the RAM in order give it to the GPU. ?
