what does it mean sd card has 0 space

hi, I have sd card in canon camera which is suddenly stopped working. I cant access it in the pc becuse it read 0 in the space
what does that mean? I lost the sd card permanently? also the card is not accessible by the camera itself

The storage chips on the card are most likely corrupt.
Replace the card.
