What does it mean to put bios onto root directory of a usb?

As the title says... A support agent told me to do that, but I dont really know what it means, explain like i'm 5. Thx

You put the BIOS file directly into the USB drive - you don't put it in a folder or anything, just the file by itself on the USB.

You know when you open up My Computer/My PC and open the USB drive? The first Window you get to next is the root directory. The root directory is where you get started from - like the root of a plant.
