What does it mean when a PSU is Modular?

Solution
Modular PSUs allow for un needed cables to be removed from the psu. Full modular allows for all cables to be removed, partly modular allows for core cables to stay in place, but things like PCI to be removed.

Though I'd partially disagree with that. In cases where you use ALL of the cables, many times a modular PSU becomes more cumbersome than non-modular where you usually have one giant braid of cables coming out. On a modular you have 12 or so cables coming out the back.

In theory modular is easier to keep tidy yes, but there are times where using non-modular would give you a cleaner look.

Ok, is this one modular? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Also, I have this cable all the way at the bottom of my case that my current PSU cant reach..it's a fan cable -_-. So will it be able to reach? This is my case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156244
