what does it mean when computer says non-system disk or disk error

Hey apounds. First go to your BIOS and boot options to check the boot order and put your HDD first if it's not or reset the boot order. Make sure there's no disk your DVD/CD drive. Check the SATA cable connection. You could also try the repair option with your Windows disk. Another reason which might be of fault here is that the drive might be damaged.

The disk you are trying to boot from is not recognized as a boot disk. Either you don't have an operating system installed or it's failing to locate an operating system.

Make sure your boot order and boot disk are set up properly in the bios.
