Please provide more information:

E.g. What O/S are you using? What application are you using? What SD cards are you using? Where and how is the SD card being connected

May simply mean that the SD card is not being recognized.

Could be drivers, physical connectivity, configuration, corrupt or failed SD card.

More information needed please.
