What does it mean when your printer is offline

computer says off line, but it is in and connected

Then uncheck the offline mode. Offline mode occurs if you try to print and the printer cannot be found, such as if you print and forget to turn on the printer first.

Offline printer means, it is not in use. Or on the network sharing a printer that is not able to be use yet or an off powered printer,and it needs to be turned on.

Right click the printer icon or just the printer word and then unchecked the offline.
